Ireland’s beauty community came together last night to celebrate excellence, innovation and the people behind the country’s most inspiring beauty businesses at the
inaugural Best in Beauty Awards Ireland – AKA ‘The BiBA’s’, presented by NI Media.
The sold‑out ceremony marked a significant milestone for Ireland’s beauty sector, shining a spotlight on the creators, therapists, educators, entrepreneurs and teams who
elevate standards and enrich the lives of clients across the country. Finalists and winners were honoured for their skill, creativity and commitment to delivering
exceptional experiences in salons, clinics, studios and beauty businesses nationwide.
Speaking at the event, Shane Smith, Managing Director of NI Media reflected on the
deeper meaning behind the awards and the industry they celebrate.
“Beauty is far more than products and treatments - it’s a powerful part of people’s everyday lives. The professionals we honoured tonight help people feel seen, supported
and confident in their own skin.They lift self‑esteem, they restore trust in ourselves and they create spaces where people feel safe to show up exactly as they are. That’s why this industry matters, and why recognising its excellence is so important.”

What We Do
As the only programme on the island to celebrate businesses both north and south, we will shine a spotlight on excellence, innovation and inclusivity across all corners of the industry — from salons and spas to standout entrepreneurs and professionals.
How We Do It
The Best in Beauty Awards 2026 is open to salons, spas, clinics and freelance beauty professionals nationwide. Entries will be assessed by an independent judging panel made up of industry experts, media professionals and educators. The judging process is transparent with criteria based on quality, innovation and client impact. Designed to reflect the diversity and dynamism of Ireland’s modern beauty landscape thus ensuring integrity and credibility in every decision.
